MBN has been actively participating in community activities since 2005. He founded NAMAM in 2010. It is one of the vibrant association in North America. He became active in FOKANA, an umbrella organization of all Kerala Associations in USA & Canada. He has contributed his service in various capacities including President 2018-2020 and his performance was matchless.
He was the President of Rotary Club of Woodbridge and Perth Amboy during 2015-2016. He is a Rotarian since 1985. He is also a Director Board member of ESHA (Educators Society of Heritage India). He is a free mason since 1987, initiated in Lodge Minchin, Trivandrum.

NAMAM
NAMAM (North American Malayalee and Associated Members) is an Indian community association situated in New Jersey, USA. This non-profit organization was founded in the year 2010 by Madhavan B. Nair.
Under his strong and inspiring leadership, a team of enthusiastic people with unswerving dedication has transformed the organization into a platform for families to come together and experience a wonderful sense of belonging and oneness.
NAMAM has been reaching out to the community with varied cultural programs, social gatherings, and humanitarian aid efforts. NAMAM Excellence Award is one of the prestigious award ceremony recognizing ones contribution to the community from different walks of life.
FOKANA
FOKANA is an umbrella organization representing all the Kerala associations in USA and Canada. This is a premier organization formed in 1983. It touches more than 450000 Malayalis in USA. He was fortunate to be a part of FOKANA actively since 2014. He became the National Committee Member in 2014-2016, followed by National Conventional Chairman in 2016-2018, served as the President for the period 2018 - 2020 and continuing as a Trustee Board member. ROTARY CLUB OF WOODBRIDGE-PERTH AMBOY
MBN was the President of The Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy during 2015-2016 and continuing his involvement as a member of the Board. The members of the Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy are dedicated people who share a passion for both community service and friendship. It brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work impacts lives at both the local and international levels.

ESHA (Educators' Society for Heritage of India) is a non-Profit organization offering authentic educational resources on culture and heritage of India. Their mission is to help improve and augment educational resources about India's heritage and culture as an important constituent of ancient as well as contemporary world cultures and wisdom traditions.
